Thanks for all the opinions. I'm going to have him look at lightly used Accord Coupes and Q60's. If he can find something with about 10,000k or less he probably will be ok with that. Maybe a Mustang... although I doubt he will go domestic :P Agree with twitchyzero, although most retirees these days seemingly end up in an SUV of some sort. |
Porsche Panamera  |
Solara, the perfect old man coupe. Sadly you can't buy new I get that but damn that thing was comfortable. |
SC430 is the next closest thing... |

Don't know if already posted or whether your dad is considering a hatchback, but the toyota Corolla hatchback would be an option, with $ to spare |

He is considering hatch's since the coupe market is pretty limited in his price range. He test drove a Mazda CX3 GT AWD the other day and liked it quite a bit, but found it a little under powered on hills. Only 148 hp and 148 torque. Handling was great. The top of the line CX3 is PACKED with every option you could want though which he liked. Anyone own a CX3 and have a more in-depth opinion? |
CX-3 is a crossover/small SUV (not that it really matters); would compete with the Honda HR-V, Toyota C-HR, etc. |
if preowned, what about an audi a5? just a random example: https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rch/...652503262.html https://images.craigslist.org/00h0h_...Z9_600x450.jpg |
or some sort of bmw 4-series coupe... again random example: https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/...666519161.html https://images.craigslist.org/00R0R_...8a_600x450.jpg |
