Ferrari repair shops

My Ferrari has a few issues and Ferrari messarati of vancouver seem to be ripping people off. Two wildly different quotes at different times and they charge "estimated hours" vs "actual hours spent" which is significantly less. one time they charged me 22 hours of repair for taking the car in in the morning and taking it out in the evening.

Anyways, know anyone who can repair Ferraris?

I don't have an answer for you. But what's the shop rate at that place?

All the dealerships on Burrard are crooks. I ordered a new range rover from the Burrard location and when i went to pick it up, they tried to convince me that the dented range rover was mine, not only was it banged up, it wasn't even the colors i ordered! Then when i got a service done for my current one (still waiting for my new order to arrive), i told them to call me before changing ANYTHING. They called my house and my mom picked up since i was on vacation, saying the brake pads are dangerous close and she didn't know any better so said yes and then called me. I called them asking what the fuck they were thinking and made them put the old pads back on and told them they are giving me a discount on the service today. Btw the pads have 40% life before the sensor comes on.

Now i take my cars to Hesp Auto in north van. Their rates are great, warranty approved and they provide courtesy cars as well as shuttle service. They do all kinds of cars but specialize in british cars. Although i have seen an f430 in there being serviced too.

I've been going there for years and they've never charged me estimated hours. If they do that talk to their gm. Both Jessie and Justin have always been fair to me. That being said what kind of issues are you having ? Ferrari chat would be a good website to ask.

I know a couple of guys who take it to miles end motors. The guy there works on a few exotics but nobody has the Ferrari/Maserati computer. So if you wanna reset that oil light or diagnose something, it's going to be a pain in the ass.

Also it'll hurt your resale for sure.

32,000 clicks and the bushings seized already??? Is that considered normal ware and tear for that low of mileage? Not to mention the labour costs more than the parts alone just for the alignment? Am i reading that right?

Badhobz 08-18-2018 02:06 PM

Yeah I drove it daily for a while and Vancouver roads are horrible. I think a few potholes did in my front suspension parts. It also doesn't help that the friggin car is 4200lb

It says $3378.30 for parts and $2261.70 for labour for the alignment.

Ask Lil'Tay or try Canadian Tire.

Truly disgusting. 80k profit on a car.

Badhobz 08-18-2018 03:33 PM

I asked the same question as OP when I first got here hahaha. Ended up still going to fmov as I couldn't find a speciality Ferrari Maserati guy who had a few reviews online. If we had a place like Enzo's of Atlanta that would be amazing but no such luck. Either fmov or Seattle Ferrari

Hesp are great. I used to take my defender there before I sold it. Can't recommend them enough.

It's a luxury item with lots of competition in a relatively free market economy. If they can make $80k/car, good for them.

Raid3n 08-18-2018 04:48 PM

Have you looked south of the border?

Ever since I moved to South Surrey, which makes servicing my Mini at Yaletown extremely far (Mini Richmond service has been very inconsistent, maybe because I didn't buy the car there and they weren't making much from the free factory service), I've been going to Bellingham to service my Mini.

The guys are SK Motorsport was extremely honest and down to earth. They really know their craft and I have nothing but praise for them.

So, if local options aren't your thing, look south. Their market is far bigger and much more competitive. Hence usually a good service/cheaper too.

not sure if actually paid in cash, but that looks like ADP.
For many or most, CASH account includes both cash and credit.

dhari 08-20-2018 09:15 PM

EuroLux seems good. Check them out.

twitchyzero 08-20-2018 10:01 PM

they don't even have an Apple store or Ikea so there's almost no way Bellingham will have an Italian sports car specialist

I guess if you're saving thousands and thousands Seattle is an option but 150 miles to service your exotic seems silly unless you Drake and can transport your Bugatti x-country

Exactly. Plus those new speed bumps at the boarder will take out your front lip.

I heard some good things and bad things about this guy

Milo European Cars - Vancouver, Canada

He's been around for a long time and has a steady base of older customers. just not sure if I would trust him with the newer models.

Mr.Money 08-22-2018 09:50 PM
