Another Chilliwack Racist? B.C. man faces deportation for membership in hate groups in England in 1990s Friends rally to support Nick Cooper who is now a vocal advocate for diversity and inclusion Spoiler! The article doesn't provide a lot of detail. I would like to know more about how he got on the Ministry of Immigration's radar. What is his actual status in Canada? Which hate group was he a part of, what sort of things did they get up to, and what was his role? Why was he able to slip through, or allowed in, despite his past when he initially came to Canada? And so on. I really like redemption stories so this is sad if true. He seems to have demonstrated a positive change in his life and the lives of others. If Trudeau can allow former ISIS fighters back into Canada and attempt to reintegrate them, I don't see why this man can't stay. |
Harper put in to law that anyone that got Canadian citizenship through naturalization may lose it if found to have had a criminal conviction before acquiring Canadian citizenship. UK puts alot of stuff that would fly here as terror organizations. |
Pretty misleading thread title? |

I admit the title is a bit of clickbait, but it was an attempt to show, especially in light of recent threads/posts of racism, that not everyone in the FV is a bigot. |
I can't speak for everyone, but I came in fully expecting a racist rant video... but it's clear after reading the article he's anything but a racist. The title goes against what you're trying to show, just my opinion. |
so the uk goverment was cracking down on terrorist groups beating up on immigrants with this guy in the nazi group,he decides to run and hide into Canada after they were taking action on all his buddies?. Hopefully the England government deports him,no different than Nazi's fleeing Germany in my eyes in all fairness. teaches him to spread hate and run with his tail between his legs, just like them all. |
IIRC, a 90-year old former Nazi Concentration Camp guard was just deported from the US to Germany. He was Polish but held no other citizenship but US. Doesn't matter if the guy was a saint in the interim, if you do the crime you do the time. |

For all we, or at least I know, he had a change of heart during the risky birth of his daughter, turned on this group, and fled to Canada for fear of reprisal for his apostasy. Why would these various social justice groups go to bat for him if he escaped justice for attacking immigrants? |

Omar Khadr was a born Canadian citizen, you can't take that away from him and make him stateless. As bad as the things that he did were. |
Leave this fucking guy alone. I swear being white and male sucks in 2018 Thankfully I don't speak engrish and can play my minority card 24/7 while littering shit and driving like a fucktard. |
What sucks in 2018 is journalism ... W5 motherfuckers: Who, what, when, where, why (and how). Presenting more than one side of a story. Attempting to contact all parties involved. What changed since his arrival? How did he end up on the Ministry's radar? Why are they looking to deport him now? Why didn't they attempt to contact the Ministry for a comment? |

1.) 35 word subjective article that spans two small paragraphs 2.) Nine embedded tweets / FB posts from random housewives and Arts bros 3.) Take lunch break As for this, I remember hearing about it a few weeks ago. I'm guessing he isn't free and clear with the law there. Anything outstanding against him needs to go through due process. |
