With the amount of CVS in Asia and how there is practically one on every block, it's just way easier to ship your stuff there and pick it up then.

Still shocked people don't know what a ring doorbell is by now.

!LittleDragon 10-05-2018 12:45 PM

Lately, I've been having stuff delivered to work. Don't have to bother picking it up.

This is the best way to go, if your work allows it!

hahaha yes! Amazon always manages to deliver outside of office hours.

MIL's house got hit. Killarney area. Dumbass Amazon delivery guy left the packages in plain sight right at the door step even when the delivery instructions specifically said to leave them at the back of the house.

Have literally watched them just dump the package and run right to the truck without even knocking.
Why is it that they don't need a signature?

when Canpar delivered my wheels..they left it on the driveway...under the house number in plain view..luckily my father in law got home and brought them into the house

I'm so glad most of my stuff is sent to the post office at Shoppers Drug Mart. It's free and I can pick it up basically from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on weekdays with shortened hours on the weekends.

It's called Flex Delivery. It's Amazon friendly.

https://www.canadapost.ca/cpc/en/per...xdelivery.page

I get notified via email and app when items arrive.

When Flex Delivery first started, it was a bit of a pain, because most places would not send items using that method. Now, I have no issues.

Contact Amazon and tell them to only deliver during business hours.
M-F 9-5. They told me they left a note on my profile so after 3 years, I've only received packages outside of that time frame maybe twice.

And when that happened, I got an email that they tried to deliver but were unsuccessful, and they'll try again on the next business day.

Gray truck comes back at 3 min mark, takes package hides under jacket side of house then goes back to truck.

I had $3600 in work done to my cylinder head dropped off by UPS outside my apartment door (yes outside, on cornwall) when I was out of town. When I got notification “delivered” I think I literally shit a brick. Thank god it’s decently heavy, and secondly my landlord was a gem.

Gh0stRider 12-22-2018 09:40 AM

We had a package stolen earlier this week, but it was just moth traps from amazon. Amazon delivery took a photo of it right at the front door, but when we got home it was gone.

Two days later we found it returned to our front door with the package torn open. I guess they weren't looking for moth traps...

sexyaccord 12-22-2018 06:56 PM

I know this won't stop them physically, but might be worthwhile if it makes them think twice about coming to the property, some of my neighbours got these now.

Ya we got a package thief too

Did it at around 4pm last week...thing is we don’t even know what the package was. She came by and pretended to be a newspaper person (dropped off a Hudson Bay flyer) and then snagged the package in to her bag

Picture attched
