2018/19 year of the mirrorless

No PDAF at this point in time is a deal breaker for me, no matter how good the sensor might be.

Nonetheless, it's interesting how this alliance will pan out. They have Panny as the electronic juggernaut, Leica on the high-end (lens-wise) while Sigma offering reasonably priced lenses with good performance.

I really like the characteristics that Sigma produces
their lenses are a little bulky on mirrorless though (their FE/E-mount stuff)
colour still goes to Carl Zeiss...sharpness-wise Sony glass has been doing very well

Leica is well above my pay-grade for me to try

is Panasonic still committed to MFT?
does Olympus even have money to get into the full-frame arms race?
Fuji just pushed out another MF body...with a 100MP Sony sensor

Funny how my first real camera purchase (I won't count my previous point and shoots) is a mirrorless. I just picked up an Olympus OMD EM10 Mark ii yesterday and hoping to play with it this weekend. :alonehappy:
