Multiple people were killed in a shooting Saturday morning at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, according to city officials.
The suspect has been identified as Robert Bowers, 46, law enforcement officials told CNN.
The gunman made anti-Semitic statements during the shooting, a law enforcement official said earlier.
"It's a very horrific crime scene," Pittsburgh Public Safety Director Wendell D. Hissrich said at a brief press conference. "It's one of the worst I've seen."

The number of dead is up to 11 now. Trump says they should have had armed security. What happens when the estranged wife a security guard shows up with another man?

Welp, guy who sent pipe bombs to Democrats only got one day's headlines.

This won't look good for Republicans on next week's elections. But it probably won't matter, these are false flag events anyways, right?

The suspect was pretty vocal about his indignation for Trump.

I really hate it that i'm not shocked, or surpised.

these mental lunatic's find a firearm so easy every time,i wonder why....it would help if the gun makers stopped lining their pockets and step in for a change to say they should have strict background checks on purchases.

Wait, they won't....that's on the government and its still the same with business as usual

Might have to do with 300+ million guns in circulation in the US.

With all the hate for the NRA and gun supporters, none of these acts have ever been carried out by a card carrying member of the NRA.

westopher 10-29-2018 10:28 AM

But 99.9% of them are carried out by the legal firearms that they fought so hard to protect peoples "right to own"
I'm not as anti-gun as you'd expect me to be, but americas gun violence issue isn't to be unnoticed. Its absolutely insane. Something should have happened long before 300million + guns are circulating around a country.

But how many guns used in shootings are bought by NRA members. The US has 325 million people. The NRA has 5 million members. That's less than 2% off the population. That 5 million may not be 100% accurate. In 2013 teh NRA started a program the road to 10 million. They still haven't reached that number.

Jesus fuck.....

Bouncing Bettys 11-05-2018 01:41 PM

Sad. The grandparents had full custody of him so I imagine he had a rough childhood. For a child to take his own life, even after killing his grandmother, is tragic. The Grandfather had to make a choice between aiding his wife or trying to save his grandson. I can't imagine being put in that position.

Hondaracer 11-05-2018 01:50 PM

Honestly I think some people in the states are so fucked they don’t even fully comprehend the concept of death.

What's just as disgusting about that story, is the prosecutors offering a plea deal to the shooter.

Edit: Whoops quoted the wrong story

This is the one I was referring to.

Hondaracer 11-05-2018 07:42 PM

He killed himself?

westopher 11-05-2018 09:16 PM

I think he means a plea deal for the shooter in the OP is as crazy as that story is.
