Are you talking about My V10 R8 or Honda Ridgeline? I also live in Nanaimo where cops are cool and not assholes like a small few in Vancouver. In the summer we have a car meet every Saturday about a block away from a community police station and have never had a problem. Cops in this town have better things to do.

Dosn't matter who it was directed at. RS is a car forum and always will be a car forum. Having 5 speed bumps on a road so close together is ridiculous especially when it connects to a Lordco and a kaltire. On purpose I drive faster going over those speed bumps in my truck.

The way they're angled, are they maybe trying to direct water flow? None of them are straight and they look like they're alternating sides.

Looks like the manholes are preventing them to run parallel with each other.Especially the one at the top.

I always figured Manic was a Ridgeline driver.

For those who live the low life, this truly is a scary pic.

Unlike many truck owners I actually use my bed on a regular basis. Use to have this young kid come to my store driving a shinny white F150 always by himself. He would have a $20 bill, buy a pack of smokes and put the rest in gas. One day I asked him why he drives a truck. His answer because it looks cool.

you know how I know you haven't been to Peace Arch border crossing?

they feel like they're few inches tall and a foot apart from each other

I like how the one you photographed is angled like that, so people with lowered ride height can't do their ridiculous side-strafes, whoever put these in are genius trolls

You want more pictures? I am going back today. It's hard to take pictures of all 5 speed bumps.

Also what the hell does walking have to do with this?

side-strafe as in

BIC_BAWS 11-01-2018 02:30 PM

Normal people just call it angling LOL

underscore 11-01-2018 03:16 PM

If the bumps themselves are angled you'd just need to drive straight down the road to "strafe" over them. If anything this should be more convenient for lowered cars.

originalhypa 11-01-2018 04:21 PM

That is a terrible overhead picture. I couldn't take my 67' there. I would be terrified that it would get hung up on the x-bar and scrape the hell out of my undercarriage.

I won't drive that car to places with big speed bumps. The low stance limits my ability to truly enjoy it
:rukidding:
