Recommendation for inexpensive gaming mic?

Looking for an inexpensive microphone for gaming. I only need the microphone portion for speaking to team mates don’t need a big headset but most seem to be the combo?

Any recommendations? Things seem to be all over the board when you just need a microphone

I've had friends just use lav mics and it's no problem. They just clip it to their shirt or the cord of their headset and the quality is pretty good.

if you want an competitive edge,This: https://www.amazon.ca/ASTRO-Gaming-H...dp/B014F77FGA/

works pretty well for cs go and any fps IMO...notice when i play with people their piece of shit headphones can't even pick up foot steps or where there coming from and i see them die, complain to them "you didn't hear that?!".......Mic is pretty damn good.

if you want wireless,go for these, damn good bass and decent sound also, lot of pros use it too

Reason why i went with wired A40's is cause i dont want to fuck with batteries down the line after re-charging my headset 500 times its not gonna hold a strong charge.....i don't feel like burning money on gaming headphones too long,The astro A40's are also all metal construction and i had them at least 5 years still strong no cracks.

I use a HyperX Cloud (Gen 1) and I liked it so much that I recommended it to my close friends. Now they all have one, lol.

+1 for the HyperX. I have the cloud2 and i'm sure they'll be on sale for black friday. Super reliable and very well built.
