xbox one s kinect question? Hello Gamers, I just recently purchased an xbox one s for my daughters at Costco. I know that they are interested in having the Kinect. I looked at Craigslist and I am not too sure which one to buy? Are the Kinect sensor all standardized or just for the xbox 360? Please let me know.. I feel like one of those clueless parents now. If you're using the xbox one S you would need an adapter for the Kinect. If you have the OG xbox you can plug it straight in adapter info: https://support.xbox.com/en-CA/xbox-...c7a3daa46d8c51 amazon link: https://www.amazon.ca/Xbox-Kinect-Ad.../dp/B01GVE4YB4 looks like because it got discontinued it's stupidly expensive now, 3rd party options are available: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07HBSVXVW/...9-3b664630e258 |
I am actually really sad they got rid of it for the X. My kids use it a lot (I do too love the voice activation) I guess I'll have to get the kids their own TV. Berz out. |

I have another question... is there a difference between the 2 Kinect sensors? I see on Craig's list that has Xbox 360 kinect sensor (oval shape) and the other one that looks like a rectangular box? thanks again.. RIBS |
xbox 360 sensor is made for xbox 360 while the boxy one was made for xbox one They are not interchangeable |
