Aren't these extortion shootings within the South Indian communities? Happens a lot here. Something to do with the Bishnoi Gang.

I am pretty sure I've seen news about a ton of similar shootings / arson / extortion happening in Edmonton, Calgary, and Toronto as well -- all related to Indian gangs. In Toronto's case, the tow truck industry and some sort of turf war within that industry is part of the cause.
