Reminds me of a thread I posted a while back. Funny enough the people in my story are still peddling that shit.

It's one thing for stupid people obsessed with money to get dragged into these schemes but I always questioned the people who have actual professional careers who get into this. One of my friends is a Psych nurse and is engaging in this. Others I know had professional careers, then had children (yes women), then opted to go into Mary Kay or Amway type stuff.

These companies are like a literal virus. Find a host and spread, that host then finds other hosts and so on. Before you know it, you're sleeping on a floor that looks like its covered in bodily fluids.

I love the videos where the content is 99% lifestyle and 1% product.

It's funny because the people who actually succeeded get paraded around at gatherings and conventions in a "look what I did and what you could do too" type fashion when the reality is 1% of people who get into these things will actually make any money never mind get rich.

Berz out.

I feel like a part of what they offer to these audiences is...

- The dream that someone can get rich.. they're selling this 'emotion' rather than logic. After all, you can't really sell the grit and foundational skills that someone needs to get rich.

- A sense of community.. SAHMs are often alone and can sometimes feel guilty for not contributing to the family's finance

- The idea that you can do this in your spare time.. professionals and SAHMs are pretty busy people.

I see all these posts on Facebook which all sound similar with a bunch of emoticons

Hadn't read that thread, but yeah it's bullshit and worth calling out

We should be better than this.

Edit: He's flogging Primerica. Is this a different division of OP's company?

Berz out.

My buddy sells prerica, he does quite well for himself doing that. They i would say are a more legit company.. but holy hell do they ever brainwash hype you...

I saw a bunch of Dan Lok's ad in my FB feeds too, until I removed it all.

The FB comments for the Dan Lok ads were all planted there,

"Don't mind paying for good advice"
"this man speaks the truth"

Dan Lok seemed to have bought himself into TEDX as a presenter, and he peddles that in his ads to paint himself as a big shot.

For fun, I clicked on his register webinar link, and his so-called "Live Webinars" are all the same pre-recorded version of this sales spiel. I accidentally found this out by messing about and refreshing my browser lol

Dan preys on poor people like all those MLM companies do

BIC_BAWS 12-08-2018 12:16 PM

TedX = / = Ted Talks tho. Any Joe Blow can get into TedX.

I've hired some Dan Lok sales guys, all talk no show.
