I'm not into music but came with the car. The long and short of it is I love this car and take care of it as such. I built the car with power, reliability and cleanliness in mind. I never planned on selling this car but modified it in such a way that if I ever did part ways the new owner would appreciate a tastefully built evo and the solid reasoning behind the choice and quality of the aftermarket parts. The reason for sale is I have another toy which serves as a daily and the wife wants one gone. License plate doesn't win me any points either so what can you do ey? Oil changes every 2000-3000 miles. All mechanical work was done at Racing Greed who have always kept the car in tip top shape in terms of service and aftermarket installation. The car is a limited edition SE spec 5-speed. The car has a brand new, broken in 2.2L English Racing long block. The gearbox is the stronger and more desirable 5-speed. It's currently tuned for pump gas + e15. Don't have have dyno sheet in front of me but on base wastegate pressure (21psi) it's somewhere around 450whp. The turbo can support around 35psi on e85 and with bigger injectors the car is 650whp+ capable. The motor is capable of supporting 800+ but I didnt build the car as a dyno queen. A reliable, responsive and fun car was always the goal so I prefer an appropriately sized turbo so the car can be fully enjoyed be it on the street, autoX, track day or drag racing. For reference the car made 520whp with e85 on the old setup which was 2L and a much smaller turbo. The previous turbo flowed 49lbs/min while the new turbo flows 65lbs/min. The beauty of the new turbo is even though it can make more power under the curve the boost threshold remains the same as the older smaller turbo. IE you see 30+ psi by 4100rpm and can safely take it up to 9,000rpm. Moreover, on the old setup it consistently trapped 128-130mph at mission with mid 11et and 60ft times in the 1.8-1.9s range. Those timeslips are more useful than dynosheet, but if you insist I have those as well to back up the numbers. I have receipts for the entire history of the car the entire time I've owned it. Receipts for all the parts and service work. The car has indeed been heavily modified, the long block alone from English Racing is $15,000 CAD and there's very little else new owner could do besides speed density, flex fuel stand alone ecu, a built gearbox and further upgrade the fuel system (supply+return lines+bigger injectors) to support more power that the turbo is capable of pushing. Despite the extensive mods the car starts on the first turn , drives well and idles strong irrespective of the weather and season. However because English Racing removes the balance shaft on their builds there's a bit more vibration than stock but nothing unbearable. If you wanted to daily this car you could but I'd recommend it as a weekend toy. The suspension could be softened up easily by just turning the knobs on the struts if that's what you prefer. The body is mint. There are two small defects on the exterior which I have taken pictures for reference. A small bump on the hood about the size of a finger nail and some scratches on the rubber trim of the B pillar on the driver side. I purchased the vehicle with these defects so nothing more to say there. There's a little curb rash on the rear driver size wheel, this can easily be fixed for $60 or before new owner takes delivery. The interior is in excellent shape. The exception being the back of the driver seat which has a small crack, again inherited from previous owner. This can also be viewed in one of the pictures. I could give the usual spiel of how much $ there is in the car, the quality of modifications chosen etc but we all know you don't get that money back and unless you know about these cars the brands mean little to nothing. Instead I priced the car for what I think is fair given the condition, recorded service history and quality of parts already installed for the next person to enjoy out of the box whether you know it or not. I have no inhibition about getting the car fully inspected at whatever shop you choose. Likewise, given the current US:CAD exchange rate the car is fairly priced given the cost to bring one in the same spec, condition, mods and hope the owner has a paper trail to back it up. No test drives unless I have a bank draft in hand. Car is available for viewing after 8pm during the week and can be otherwise be scheduled during weekends. |
