I completely agree with vaccines shot for the major viruses like measles though.
| I don't think that the "controversy" arises because it doesn't work for everyone because people's immune systems are different. Vaccines don't work because it isn't designed for the strain of pathogen that one experiences.
Say the 2018 vaccine is designed for Flu A but the person experiences/contracts Flu B. By taking the vaccine for Flu A, it will not be effective in fighting Flu B which may lead someone to think "vaccines don't work for me". It simply isn't that the vaccine doesn't work, it's just you happened to have contracted a different strain. |
