parking downtown core safety
 
i recently got a job in downtown core, considering getting monthly parking space somewhere around Pender/hornby/howe area. wondering if anybody parks downtown, and how often (if any) cars gotten broken into.

any secured parking spaces you guys recommend.

PS.i understand i can transit in/out however i do have visit colo at times so easier to drive

There is no such thing as a secured parking space. Just don't leave any valuables in your car and keep your fingers crossed.

The number of break-ins to vehicles in Vancouver almost doubled in the last eight years.

Hudson building where the Keg/Steve Nash is. Zero issues and it's been 4 years or so but this is also one of the most expensive buildings to rent parking as well.

Break-ins will only continue to be a more common occurrence with the police not giving much care to them nowadays.

Underground gated monthly only. Never have a problem. Don't leave stuffs in plain sight, you'll be fine.
