can i change hearing location?

ticket says hearing location is in lillooet, can I have this changed?

got hit for going 70 in supposedly 50 zone on BC-99, my first ticket ever

but just cross-referenced with google maps, there are zero speed limit signs southbound after turning left from BC-12 towhere i was pulled over, one couldn't possibly have assumed it would be 50 on a rural road without signage

the only posted sign is PAST the point I was signaled to pull over (the one the officer is referring to) and my dash cam clearly shows me doing 36kph by this sign

officer said it was visual then radar, but he was driving as oncoming traffic...on a semi-sloped/curved road at that

do I have a case?

50km otherwise noted. everywhere in the province. common knowledge. guess not common enough

Unless a sign tells you otherwise, speed limits are:
• 50 km/h within cities and towns
• 80 km/h outside cities and towns
• 20 km/h is the maximum speed limit in a lane or alleyway
within municipalities unless otherwise posted.

50 as speed limit on a major provincial highway is common knowledge?

even through lions bay/britannia you get ample signage telling you it's 60

whatever ignorance of law isn't an excuse...my time is worth more than $100 so paid it even if it's kinda silly
