John Rambo is back

And the song they use in the trailer.

I have no idea if I’ll watch it, but the title ‘last blood’ got a genuine smile out of me

IMASA 05-30-2019 10:51 AM

I look forward to watching it on Netflix.

I enjoyed the first four films, hopefully they don't pull a Die Hard and make an awful fifth film.

I'm down. The last one from 2008 was surprisingly good. I liked the other 3 as well. Cool to get a conclusion to the character.

fuken love that song.
Thanks for posting this. I had no idea that Rambo 5 was coming out.

I feel like the trailer tells the whole movie though.

Rambo gets jumped in what, Rio? some shit happens, he heads back to his ranch to heal up, knowing they'll come there to get him. He sets up some traps and prepares. They eventually come find him, and a huge battle ensues, the last stand, or "Last Blood".

Yawn.

The End.

The last Rambo was one of the better Rambo's. I don't really don't care what the story is, as long as it still has Sly playing Rambo take my money.

Somehow, I am not really feeling Syl's return as Rambo.

I'm perfectly fine with him reprising Rocky / Creed. There is steady character progression there, and it is far more perfectly sensible to see Rocky age and go through the different trials. But with Rambo, he is supposed to be a far more stereotypical character. Even the plotlines are supposed to be just more of the same different stuff. In this installment, he sets up his traps and stuff in his barn instead of in the US small town woods or Soviet POW camp. But honestly, I feel like Syl is out of Rambo's character now.

Maybe I just can't wrap my head around a bada$$ 70+ yrs old taking down a whole Mexican cartel...

the action scenes are always top notch in rambo movies,i'll watch it for sure.

the last rambo was awesome.

Thinking about the past films, I wonder if they'll stick with the political message theme ('Nam, 'Nam, Afghanistan, Burma) or just go for maximum explosions?

I'm assuming there will be a big box set of all the films once it hits home release so I'll hold off buying the previous films til then.
