Earplugs for concerts and music festivals.

I always go to concerts and music festivals for my job as a freelance photographer. I've been having some trouble with my ears so I need to purchase good quality plugs. Been using foam and other generic off-the-shelf plugs and they hurt my narrow ear canals every time. Is it time for me to purchase custom made ear plugs?

Thanks in advance!

Costco hearing centres make custom fit hearing protection. I’ve started bringing earplugs to bars even when shitty house bands come in to play and always too loud

^ O yes. Every weekend. Always at small bars and always too loud for the space.
I've heard good things about Ear Peace. They advertise that they cut out just the right amount of sound and not too much - which is what you'll want if you actually enjoy the music at the venues you attend haha https://www.earpeace.com/

i got db blockers from protect ear. theyre comfortable to wear all day at work, easy to insert and remove especially compared to foam plugs, they do a good job of blocking sound and allowing voices to be heard.

they are pricey though at like $200, they have an office in surrey where you can get fitted

Just checked them out. Those christmas tree looking plugs don't fit my ear canals well. I feel like they are scraping my ears each time I take em off. Thanks anyway Berz.

I already have Ear Peace on my list. They have great reviews on amazon. FYI I do enjoy most of the genres played it's just that I'm hearing buzzing and ringing in my head after every event.

Thanks!

Pretty pricey but I'd rather pay $$$ than end up deaf. I'm actually interested in another company because I watched a video of them on YouTube.
They have earplugs below $200 and they also have a service provider located near me.

They were only around $120 when i ordered them last, maybe you had a fancy version. Totally worth it, I can't do work at home without my earplugs now. When I leave them in the other room I think, "oh well, I'm only using my impact gun for 15 minutes", once I start going at it it turns into "nope nope nope nope, gotta put them in"

I got custom ones from https://www.protectear.com/ when I use to work concerts. They were $200 but worth it.
