Tools on sale at......

I just picked up this mastercraft dremel rip off for 39 bucks.

Good deal. Comes with 250 accessories too.

https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/m...4892p.html#srp

Figured if anyone else sees some cheap tools they can drop it in this thread.

Didn't know they had Canadian Tire in China :P

Jmac 10-14-2019 12:29 PM

Canadian Tire so good

The Dremel bits as well as the multi tool oscillating saw accessories are always the best deal at CT

Even if they aren’t the best quality you can buy an 80 piece accessory kit for the price of 3 blades fro. Home Depot

Hasn't been updated in quite some time.............

It's in the Miscellaneous Tech and Tools Forum on RS.

https://www.revscene.net/forums/misc...ech-tools_193/

Choose "From the Beginning" in the drop down menu in the "Display Options" from that forum and you'd be pleasantly surprised with the gems you'll find.

I’m loving my fake dremel.

I polished a watch case, some garden tools, and removed some old grout from around the tub.

Thanks Cambodian tire! I’m pretty sure all that metal/grout/wool particles I breathed in yesterday just shorten my life substantially but at 40 bucks how can you lose !!!

Dust mask...............

Don't get the cheap kind. I do the over kill type.

https://www.kmstools.com/3m-half-fac...pirator-m-6812

or

https://www.kmstools.com/north-5500-...irator-m-13381

or the ultimate, cause it protects your eyes, as well.

Good investment. You can put whatever filter you need on 'em. The added feature........... it makes you feel like Darth Vader when you breathe in and out, lol.

I use the respirators when I air brush my small scale models. I have a spray booth, but you can never be too safe. Your lungs will thank you. Actually, the 45+ years of smoking probably killed my lungs long ago, but I've quit for over 10 years now. No point in adding to the damage.

^Make sure the respirator cartridges you use while spraying paint are rated for organic vapours. The standard pink P100 HEPA particulate filter without the vapour cartridge isn't going to help you at all with paint fumes.

Everything I do is overkill. When I build stuff, it’s usually earthquake proof. My garden shed would be the only thing standing in the neighborhood after a tornado hits. Yup, short of a gas mask. The darn things have a shelf life. Can’t buy in bulk, lol. RS group buy? They go on sale at one place or another. If it’s not on sale at KMS Tools, then Brafasco, Summit Tools, etc. Price match works, too.

badhobz can use it in hong kong too :troll:
