voted. man, i didn't even recognized 3 of the candidates. maybe cause our local existing riding is too strong and they didn't get a chance to even showcase themselves.

Simplex123 10-21-2019 03:05 PM

Leaving work early now to go vote

Manic! 10-21-2019 03:24 PM

Just voted. Asked for 2 ballots and they laughed. Took less than 5 minutes.

Infiniti 10-21-2019 03:25 PM

Done.

AstulzerRZD 10-21-2019 03:50 PM

Voted by mail from overseas!

GS8 10-21-2019 04:09 PM

Nothing wrong with having political differences.

But anyone who forfeits their right to vote, forfeits their right to complain for the next 4 years.

urrh 10-21-2019 04:32 PM

adv voted last week

if i'm not mistaken, parliament can be dissolved anytime. it's not strictly 4 years. 2 years; people would complain tax dollars are being wasted on too many elections and 6 years; people would complain the party would be in power too long.

punkwax 10-21-2019 04:42 PM

We’re in Vancouver. People be complaining no matter what.

Blah_Teggie 10-21-2019 05:55 PM

Voted. In and out in under 5 mins

I'll be happy when the political ads stop, social media calms down, and we can all try to get along again. This has been a rough election.

DragonChi 10-21-2019 07:38 PM

Voted. Voted early, regret not thinking about it more and voting with who would have represented my riding instead of the party platform.

6793026 10-21-2019 07:55 PM

holy falk, one of candidates got 0.5% of the votes; 99 votes. Another had 159.
One was a Kwantlen student 18 yr old... dangggg dude got 3000+ votes. Still lost but dang.

Didn't vote. Don't give a shit. Won't complain. I'll just sit back and watch everyone argue lol

Berz out.

Berzerker 10-22-2019 02:45 PM

I'm actually baffled that people are so emotionally invested in this Election. Seeing the "If you voted blank just delete me off your friends list" is funny to me. Guess I can mark myself safe from Voting now haha.

Berz out.

I find it mildly amusing how many of the people who would be the first to call someone a snowflake for just about anything are the ones now whining because the outcome wasn't what they wanted.

SkinnyPupp 10-22-2019 04:42 PM

My former riding was won by a (seemingly) anti-China guy in the Conservative party LUL

The Liberal incumbent has apparent ties to triads, and is a former member of the Canadian Alliance

Go Conservatives!

Mikoyan 10-22-2019 07:20 PM

Lol. 99? In order to become a candidate, you need 100 voters in your riding to nominate you.

It always looks bad of you can't get at least the number of endorsements.

Badhobz 10-22-2019 09:01 PM

Couldn’t vote, stuck overseas for work. But I’m sad black/brown face gets another term. Even though it’s a minority government.

ilovebacon 10-22-2019 09:49 PM

it was pouring that day! Good thing I had an umbrella

Boostslut 10-22-2019 10:00 PM

Voted too. I was wondering though, does anyone actually take the legal 3 hours that your allowed paid from work to actually vote?

I voted during work time, but it took me less than 5 mins to do so. Nothing lost.
