No reports of any casualties from US intel. Trump is giving a speech from the WH this morning. This is gonna be interesting. :considered: |
This looks more and more like a 'choreographed' or for show 'retaliation' for Iran to save face and a bit of pressure valve release. The US and Iraqis knew the attack was coming, some damage here and there, no casualties. It's like after a big hit on a play ... someone has to challenge the player that laid the big hit, they put on a little show and everything is all good. |
key points from Trump's address: ▪He confirmed no Americans were killed: Trump said, "No Americans were harmed in last night's attack by the Iranian regime." US and Iraqi sources had previously said there were no known casualties. ▪He said Iran is standing down: "Iran appears to be standing down, which is a good thing for all parties concerned and a very good thing for the world," Trump said. ▪He announced new sanctions: "The United States will immediately impose additional punishing economic sanctions on the Iranian regime," Trump said. ▪He urged allies to pressure Iran on nuclear weapons: Trump called on other nations to recognize that Iran must end its nuclear ambitions. "Iran must abandon its nuclear ambitions and end its support of terrorism," Trump said. "We must all work together toward making a deal with Iran that makes the world a safer and more peaceful place." ▪He criticized the slain Iran general: Trump said Qasem Soleimani, whose death in a US strike last week sparked the current US-Iran tensions, is "the world's top terrorist." He said Soleimani "was planning new attacks on American targets, but we stopped him We are now the No. 1 producer of oil and natural gas anywhere in the world. We are independent and we do not need Middle East oil." |
This is just lame posturing so they don't lose face. If you launch 12 rockets at military bases and managed to hit no one, you either have Ray Carles doing the aiming or you're just puffing your chest. |
i dont think Iran had any intentions to kill, they dont want that smoke |

Wonder where Iran is buying its Missiles from? lol. Paying the US to fight them? Berz out. |

The way that they all missed, I would have thought they were made in China. |
Heard on the BBC last night that the base is gigantic, and Iran purposely targeted areas not in use, or were cleared, due to back channel discussions, and that it was a dace saving measure. Guess that turned out to be true |

I think their missiles can be very accurate in hitting targets. Trump or any US president would be crazy to attack that country given their huge military budget, large army, and rapid development of military tech. https://nationalinterest.org/blog/bu...missiles-95941 |
Iran missiles are accurate to within 10 meters. They did not miss. |

I don’t think they missed. But they might also not want to initiate a war with the US that is ultimately unwinnable due to the huge military imbalance. this strike was to appease their masses calling for blood. Although since no blood was lost maybe this didn’t work out as well as they intended. Either way it’s going to be a slippery slope. |
This is a critical point where the Saudi war and ISIS proxies have failed. Iran will force Zionist forces away from its region.... maybe by arming freedom fighters in Afghanistan, Jordan and the Arab monarch states. Iran is backed by Russia and China, and could also disable Arab cities\oil sales and hit Isreal. Last month Putin announced that he'll nuke anyone that nukes their allies. Iraq's PMU forces will probably take over targeting foreign bases out of Iraq and Syria. edit Lastly I wonder what Edward Snowden would say about remote sabotaging planes to crash. |

It's not just Canadian and Ukrainian investigators that are granted access, US investigators have been allowed in as well Quote:

Iran says 25 million people attended Qassem Soleimani’s funeral Quote:
