Reoccurring Carbon Fiber Oxidation???

Just wondering if this is normal for Carbon Fiber as it's the first time I've tried to restore it. So basically I have a cf hood and lip spoiler that was severely oxidized, white haze all over. I was watching some YouTube videos on how to restore it. And I was able to buff everything off with my dual action polisher, all the haze on the cf pieces and it shines like brand new. Then I coated it with meguiars hybrid ceramic wax pretty much right after the buffing. However, within a few days the haze began to come back on the hood and it pretty much kinda looks oxidized and hazy again. It's only been about a month and the car has not even seen sunlight as it's stored in a garage. The lip spoiler still looks good. :okay:

Any one know why? Is it because I didn't buff enough? But I was able to make to look new again, why did it haze up so quickly when nothing touched it, not even water or any sunlight.

Thanks

Clear coat paint, not wax

Will reclearing it make any cracks disappear too?

depends on if the crack is in the clear or in the hood material. if its in the clear coat and you do a good enough job prepping or filling it, you probably won't even notice it. it's all in the prep.
