OEM BMW Performance CF Intake - E46 Non M
 

For sale is a mint condition factory BMW Performance CF Intake.

The BMW Performance CF Intake (13 72 0 429 613) is part of the 2007 BMW Performance Parts Catalogue. Made for E46 330 M54s from 1999-2006. This intake, while looks like a dress up part with the carbon fiber, was completely redesigned by BMW Performance.

According to the parts catalogue, BMW engineers went to great lengths to create an integrated design with an additional, third inlet scoop and a special filter element for specialized air flow. BMW Performance quotes an increase of 3HP. However, many forum members on E46Fanatics who have done a before/after dyno have quoted around 5-10whp.

Power is always debatable for performance intakes, but this is what is guaranteed. On a stock E46 330, it will be louder and throatier than a stock intake, the intake induction noise at 3000rpms is addicting. When I first put it on, it was like a whole different car. It felt like the rpms rise much faster than before.

I changed the air filter in January 2020, for reference the PN is 13 72 0 431 649. The regular E46 M54 air filter will not fit the BMW Performance Intake.

Preferably I'd like to keep this item in the local market as it is hard enough to source as is. However, given how quickly it sells in the US, I can do that as well.
