DIY - lower front bumper scrap

looking to help out my neighbour...she scraped up the lower front bumper (see pic).

i'd be curious for DIY projects on something like this...as i'd guess a full repaint would set her back a good $1000... color being 'white orchid pearl'/ Honda Accord.

for interim, i was thinking of white plastidip/pearlizer to conceal it better...after all, its front lower area which alot of people may not even look at closely.

otherwise, some cdn tire duplicolor white pearl which may not be a good match either.

If you dipped that whole lower "lip" area the transition might be hidden by the existing edge/ Worst case just peel it off and try the paint.

I couldn't find any Duplicolour for Honda's White Orchid Pearl at Canadian Tire. I guess it's difficult to get a colour match to fit in one can.

I think I read that same post where someone used the Plastidip w/ Pearlizer and it turned out okay. I was in the exact same situation as your neighbour too. I had these choices from least to most expensive.

1) Vinyl Wrap or Plastidip w/ Pearlizer
2) OEM Front Underbody Spoiler Part# 08F01-T2A
3) Bodywork & Respray

I bought some vinyl wrap which had close enough of a colour. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07MFJH5JH/

I would try just getting any white to touch it up. White hides well. Like you said.. the scrap is at the bottom of the car. Are ppl actually going to go down on their hands and knees to really look at it.. ppl usually look at the car as a whole... Owners are usually not that picky about the outside of the car... But If you one of those owner who is really bothered by the scrape.. go to a body shop and see if they'll touch it up for a few bucks... usually they should have some random white sitting around where they can splash in some pearl..
