Cat teeth extraction cost !? Unfortunately, one of my cat needs to have 5 teeth (Big one in the back) extracted. Cost was quoted $1500-1800 depending on situation. Does this cost sound right ??? |
When our dog needed a couple of extractions we paid around $300. Each vet is different. We go to Columbia Square animal Hospital Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I know it's not comparable since we're in different countries, but I paid no more than a few hundred to have it done to my cat, and it was an emergency I'd consider going to another vet, that sounds extremely high |
sounds about right. cost about 1200 for us to get 3 removed. We went to Amherst in Kits and they were great. |
I would say get a second opinion or quote Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Some vets are nicer than others. We used to go to, All About Pet Clinic 20058 Industrial Ave, Langley City, BC V3A 4K7 (604) 534-1300 https://g.co/kgs/VcakD4 Honest guy and won't try to rip you off for more or unnecessary items. He had a clinic in Richmond and does the operations in Langley. Not sure if he still has the clinic in Richmond, as my dog has passed for a couple years now. |

And as i did some research on google. For teeth extraction, Dogs are cheaper than cats. its because they need anesthesia most the cases. Cats probably is very agitated during extraction. But dogs should be the same, isn't it ? Quote:
i kinda know the rate in Asia as i lived in Taiwan half of my life. Cost of health care for pets are so cheappp in Asia. I would say 1/2 to 1/3 of the price in most cases. Quote:

Try giving Columbia Square Animal Hospital 604-521-5572 a call, my friend as well as us have been happy with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
on this topic, do you guys brush your cats teeth? what do you use? |
nope. indoor cat, 8 years old. Dry food diet + water. We sometimes (like once a week) give him a snack that promotes dental hygiene. |
