has anyone dealt with TunerCult? has anyone bought anything from tunercult.com before? they are giving away 'free' cars since last year i believe, anyways for the lambo giveaway, i decided to buy a shirt because i liked the design. plus $1=10 entries so why not. so i paid on july 28, they sent me an email on july 31. a shipping label was created july 31 and it was processed at a LA distribution center aug 3. there has been no tracking update since. it's been 'in transit' since aug3. after some googling, apparently this company has been getting these complaints a lot. this company sounds scammy. just wondering if you guys experienced this from TunerCult, if so, i will have to ask for my $ back from my credit card company. i should have known better. argh. thks |
I haven’t dealt with them but LOTS of sites are doing the car giveaway shit... some custom MR2 retailers do monthly car draws I don’t get how they afford it or what they’re getting out of it but that MR2 company has a great rep To be honest to don’t think the giveaways portion is the scammy part or the problem for you, it’s them themselves... To be fair I recently had a package sit in San Francisco for like 7 days recently before it started moving again. Keep in mind USA is fucked these days. |
I'm surprised these guys are still around. I purchased 3 shirts from them in like 2018 and they took half a year to arrive. After no shipping notification for like a month I messaged PayPal and they refunded me. Shirts still arrived though. Fairly poor quality, colours washed out on the first wash. I'd suggest importbible or garagetuned for automotive apparel |
hm, maybe i'll wait until early september before asking for a refund, yeah i did think usa is messed up, even canada post is delayed apparently, i'm not waiting half a year though haha. |
I mean if it's being sent USPS International, expect things to be scuffed from systematic dismantling of the service because someone wants to interfere with the democratic process. |
No experience with TunerCult, but my experience with shipping from the US since COVID has been mehh. Slower delivery times and unreliable tracking.. it'll show in transit then suddenly show up. |
The number of these companies doing this giveaway shit has skyrocketed, seems like every tool with 100k subs on insta or a youtube channel is doing this shit. I'm almost positive some of them are scamming (and by that I mean not legitimately giving cars out to random people). Diesel brothers started the trend, I'm fairly certain they are legitimate. But many of these other kids, I highly doubt it. Would rather just wear a crisp plain white tee than some branded trash with TunerCunt across my chest. |
way to kick OP while he's down |

I doubt however that they are scamming the shirts. I still think that's going to come. Just highly doubt anyone is going to be driving away in a lambo anytime soon. But hey you never know. I bought some of those floor mats (leather wraparound ones that are all over insta and shit). This was from elitecarmats, same company as diamond car mats, and they took my money then shut that shit down and never sent me shit or gave my money back. They generated a label, I assumed it was on a ship from china or whatever so I waited, and by the time i realized I got scammed it was too late to do anything. So yeah, bullshit is out there. Fuck you Diamond Car Mats cunts. EDIT: seriously considering getting a tunercunt shirt made now though... |
surprisingly, a good update; i received the shirt yesterday. now time will tell whether the shirt is poor quality. |
Is there any evidence anybody actually wins those cars? |
