Halloween 2020 It's that time of year again. Discuss your plans for this year. Costumes, displays, etc. With COVID, it's going to be really weird. I celebrate Halloween more than Xmas. I'll do my usual haunted house display and give out treats. Social distance signs as part of display. I was thinking of a chute to give treats out. Tongs and whatnot. Maybe drones, canon, catapult, lol. Not sure how many moms and dads will be taking their children out this year. I do make special bags for the neighbours' kids. If I don't see them, I guess I'll just deliver it to them. Anyway, if you are a PC Optimum member, starting tomorrow, No Frills has a box of 50 Nestlé mini chocolates (Coffee Crisp, Aero, Kit Kat, Smarties) on sale for $4.97. That hits the magical 10˘ per chocolate price point - doesn't get cheaper than that for the good stuff. |
1 Attachment(s) I've been to Spirit Halloween and it's not as busy as it has been in the past. I go every year to see what's new in animatronics and trends in costumes. Trump is still a thing. The soul sucker animatronic is pretty impressive, but hella expensive. My fog machine is pretty powerful so it may not be compatible. https://www.spirithalloween.com/prod...ons/214446.uts As for other places to get costumes and props, there's Part City. If you have Triangle membership, you can earn points as Party City is part of the Canadian Tire group of retailers. https://www.partycity.ca/en.html?gclsrc=aw.ds |
you should just of bumped the same Halloween thread we have been using for years.. |
just like the RS Christmas Lobster thread, right? |
I just bought some candy buckets to fill with candy. Gonna drop them off at my sister's place since my nieces (5 and 7 yo) probably won't be able to go out this year. |
Sorry. Found the original one. Didn't think to even search. My apologies. Mods, please delete this thread. |
