Listened to a podcast interview with him years ago. He presented as a likeable Everyman. One story; when the water main at the street started leaking he said he got out his tools and stopped it before the municipality arrived. Said he liked fixing things. |
A total icon, I'm sure Jeopardy will go on but won't be the same. |
RIP... truly an iconic person, both on and off stage. He singlehandedly defined a genre in TV programming. |
