Need to get some new Michelins soon...any tire shop recommondations?

Want to get a set of Michelin Pilot AS3+ to replace my almost 5 year old balding Pilot AS3 tires.

Any recommendations for shops with good prices in the GVRD or are they pretty much the same?

Thank you

Just a headsup in case you weren't aware, the Pilot AS4 just came out. 1st fitment was for the C8 Vette, I think they've got about 10-20 tire sizes out now with more to come.

Thank you for the heads' up! Just checked online, none in my size yet. :(

I wonder if the AS4 will bring the price of the AS3+ down?

Im running the AS4 on my ND Miata, really impressive tire. The cold/wet grip is excellent and overall is very refined.

Dm me if you need me to check pricing/stock, our cost on AS4 has been lower than AS3+ for some applications

For Michelin's I'd start with Costco.

The UHP All-Season space is pretty hot right now with a lot of new tires showing some great performance - might be worth considering more brands.

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests...y.jsp?ttid=259 - The Goodyear Eagle Exhilarate beat out the AS4 here thought Tire Rack expects the AS4 to win all around:

Even BFGoodrich gets some love with it's tire especially in snowy conditions.

Come see me at Regency Toyota. We'll match Costco pricing.

Please ask for Ryan or Kohei.

Thank you

Thank you! You do non-Toyota cars too? It's a Mustang GT

But do you match Costco's rotation and flat repairs?

GIZZ 12-11-2020 08:07 PM

Costco is good for flat repairs but bad for repair times. Other than that It's easy to beat Costco pricing on everything but Bridgestones.

Sorry no just tire prices.

I got my Michelin AS3+ from tireland performance in north van.
I paid $230/tire for 235-45-18. mount and balance was $35/tire.

Since a few people here have UHP All seasons, have anyone driven these in the snow?

I have the AS3+ and also P Zero All season plus on my vehicles and typically swap to winter tires, but this year due to covid and WFH I will be keeping one of my FWD cars that will be barely driven on all seasons rather than changing them.

Can anyone comment on the wet snow we have here? I've been driving on winter tires each winter for the past 17 years+ I forgot what it's like with all seasons...

I had DWS and DWS06s on my TSX and in a pinch it works fine for light snow but the moment the snow is packed (like a back alley or side streets) it struggles. Patience helps in those situations but it's certainly not confidence inspiring. (I'm in East Van for context).
