I got myself in quite the pickle recently, this was 140km+ deep into an FSR. Fun Fact, I was so stuck that once the sun set, we gave up and hunkered down in this exact spot.

Also started documenting my trips recently, I know a few of you guys follow my adventure IG but for other who don't but are interested. I tend to send it into unknown conditions and just deal with it... Makes for good content I guess :badpokerface:

I watched the whole thing, it's really well put together... with a bit more editing and some more time spent on writing it could be a full out series.

If you don't mind me asking, how do you guys find the time/funds to do this? I can't even convince a friend to go for dinner half the time let alone have 5 guys take tens of $$$ of gear out into the sticks for 5+ days at a time. I did the gang ranch drive as well on a motorcycle with 3 other guys, 3 night trip camping... it's the 1 time that ever happened now they all have wives and kids who chained them at home... but big difference summertime on a bunch of cheapass bikes lol

I'm new to this whole youtube, storyboard and writing thing so It's definitely a work in progress, with more video's I hope figure out my direction with this channel.

This was done over a long weekend, just took an extra 2 days off to make it 5. Funding: I have an adult job. Time: No personal commitments - keeping it this way as I'm planning for a 1 year Pan american Overland come spring 2022. It really doesn't cost a lot of money to go out like this though, gas and food is all you need. The other 3 vehicles are fairly stock(lift and tires at most). I'm also always looking for an adventure, so I'll usually plan things myself and ask if any of them want to come. Heck, they even didn't know the route I had mapped out until the night before we left - only the destination.

we went ape shit back in the days when people were swapping out D series to K series. Nowadays it's Porsches and Teslas.

Edit: Full disclosure - I've bumped into random RS members around the globe at the most random times and places and it's like a big WTF.

Appreciate your candidness, I had this feeling like you're always overlanding somewhere but I guess it's just more that your trips are that much more remarkable than what most people are up to so it just feels all encompassing!

I've managed to get a few MR2's together over the years and drive down to LA for Toyotafest. From my experience it takes lots of notice, and then doing it year after year gets more people interested and talking about it and then more join in.
