Go figure. |
Early 90s My dad had one of these in 5spd manual lol, exact same color shown in pic. I always pigged out on haagendazs chocolate icecream bars sitting in the rear child seat. Still remember all the chocolate crumbs stuck in the crevices because of my fat ass LOL. https://i.imgur.com/ZIvoiIX.jpg |
I had a relative who needed a cheap car so he bought one of those with an automatic trans. Maybe something was wrong with it because apparently he couldn't maintain speed on Kingsway and people were honking and going around him lol |
My dad had some sort of yellow American wagon in the 70s-80s (forgot the brand and model :( ), then upgraded to a 1989 corolla wagon :) Edit: Might've been an Oldsmobile custom cruiser... |
I remember my dad loving cars when i was young. This included a couple of original vw beetles, ford cortina, Toyota carina, Mitsubishi lancer and a Mazda 626. This was all in the 80s |
Way back when... Mom's car: 1978 trans am https://img.hmn.com/900x0/stories/2018/08/624949.jpg Dad's car: 1978 Firebird Formula https://i.ytimg.com/vi/uw_2oKA87qs/maxresdefault.jpg |
my dad still drives his '96 toyota corolla around. as basic as it gets, i think the only option was A/C. still works. |
Dad bought this a week after I was born. 460, air shocks and no less than 5 ashtrays. Hauled a family of 6, down the West coast, quite comfortably. I left a hole in the dash from my dad slamming on the brakes and smashing a loose tooth into it.
