Gardens: Let's see them!

I was inspired to make this thread when I saw gardening being mentioned in another thread. I like gardening, mostly through osmosis from my wife. She does all the planning, and buying, and buying, and buying, and seeding and planting, and buying some more. I provide the shoveling where she tells me to.

My backyard is doing well this year, everything has kind of settled from previous years. I'm not looking forward to my water bill this summer LOL

Peaches

Raspberries:

My Apple tree has 5 different apple types (multi-graft) on it:

Borage for the pollinators, and when they go to see the finches come and clean them up:

My Deck:

My Girl:

Wall of Tomatoes:

Next episode I'll get some pictures of my 25x100' city garden plot

Looks like you have some good outdoor living there

I was supposed to replace my deck last year and have a big 40th birthday bash in the backyard. Covid killed that so I told myself I’d rebuild it this year. Then lumber prices skyrocketed. My deck needs a lot of work

Thanks man. Yeah a couple years ago I sanded all 450 square feet of my deck on my hands and knees with a 3x21" Belt sander and 1/4 sheet finish sander. Took me 4 weekends. I'm not looking forward to doing it again.

You have a beautiful yard 68. I have a full rooftop on my village house, but if I ever tried to do something up there, it would get blown away by the first big typhoon. So it's just bare, used for tanning sometimes or hot pot in the winter

I saw someone mention that they had hydrangeas.. I'd love to see them post those here

We have one Hydrangea in the front yard. It was about three times the size last year, but in the early fall I re-coated my front steps and I used a surface etcher which I think got onto the plant and stunted its growth this year.

Smaller plants than previously but I’m happy with them as they as early genetic breeds I got freebies of from a place I buy solid genetics from

Man those buds look so nice and dense. Mine are all tall & spindly and don't have any trichomes on them yet. I don't know if that's just my variety or if I'm doing something wrong. The plant is very healthy, I have been pruning as best as I understand to (this year is my first try at growing weed)

My plants are pretty larfy unfortunately.. I think it’s because my parents back yard there doesn’t get enough sun so growth is OK but they don’t get the full benefit and as a result you get the larfy or “airy” buds

This is the second time this has happened to me growing there so I’m probably done after this year. You really need that 6+ hours of hot sun for weed

The one on my pictures is a kit from Costco. You’d be hard pressed to build anything better for almost double the price imo. Beleive there’s was like 600-700
