	   | RSX Fan blower not working

Hey guys, I have an 02 RSX-S and the fan blower was intermittent for a few weeks and now it stopped working all together. Has anyone Lee had this happen to them?Could it possibly be a loose connection that just completely disconnected at the blower?
I’m not mechanically inclined so any help would be appreciated.

Could be the resistor? Common problem when it comes to rsx hvac. Pricy to replace. When you say intermittent.... Was it the variable speeds that was wonky? Common symptoms are full blast or off, the settings in between don't work well.

It would either blow or not blow at all.
The fuse was fine.

No response from Fliptuner. Can anyone tell me if the resistor is a separate piece and not attached to the blower?

			Separate.
Post #23 describes how to get to the resistor. https://www.clubrsx.com/threads/blow....756617/page-2 | | | | | 11-03-2021, 03:55 AM | #10 | | I WANT MY 10 YEARS BACK FROM RS.net!

dunno why rsx hvac is unreliable
Spent beginning part of a winter without heat, just had to unplug/replug something down there

another time blower fan/motor also died, the resistor was fine

at least parts are cheap and it’s easily accessible job

After checking the fuse, I'd pull the fan and put 12V to it. If it works, the switch or resistor is the problem. If not, replace the motor

A friend helped me out and we found the problem to be the resistor. He made a temporary fix until the part comes in. Most importantly, I have a working fan and heat. Thanks everyone
