I'm a detailing nerd so I love seeing the water pattern and beading after I do a detail. I use Kamikaze Overcoat and it's water properties are incredible, great beading and hydrophobicity.

The DD Benz is down - waiting to do brakes and rim swap.
The toy DD is also dead - sounded like crank pulley or something is failing. Haven’t sent to shop for repairs
TT RS Is officially the wife’s DD.
So now…. Two back up DD are dead and the toy car is now the DD.

When I try to buy something sensible for DD they break.
Probably best bet has always been the least sensible cars.

I finally got the plates back on, there's a few small quirks which I'm not surprised by but the big one is that the heat isn't working lol.

So, driver's side shock tower and apron came out, and the damage revealed was way worse than I ever imagined.  
All being re-boxed and repaired nicely: 
So glad I made the choice to address it while I had the motor out.
