Gotta say, the courier they use (E24 Metro) is useless. Set up a scheduled delivery for today between 9-5 at my work. Instead they tried to deliver at 10pm last night and again tonight, also at 10pm.

I sent it to my parents house cuz I live in a condo and I knew it would be a circus trying to make contact with them... my nearly 80 year old mom opened the door when they showed up and the courier asked for me and she said that I was her son and then he asked her to verify my birth date to make sure I was "old enough" before he would give the package to her :lol

This is the future for tobacco companies. They want people to switch to vaping. You can only by flavor pods at vape shop. Gas stations and other stores can only sell tobacco flavors. The government will soon ban flavors at stores.

Imperial tobacco (players, pall mal, du maurier, ect)has a new version of there vuse device that has Bluetooth and a app. The app allows you to control the size of vape and lets you know the last location of your device . Guarantee they are going to use this to track users.

Imperial tobacco wants to raise prices in the next 3 to 4 years to $25 to $27 a pack for cigarettes. We have started carrying come budget brands from some smaller companies out of Ontario that are $2.50 to over $6.00 cheaper than the major brands. The other tobacco companies are pissed.

Imperial tobacco makes stores sign a contract that says you can't sell and cigarettes for lower than what you sell pall mall for. The new rep (no rep has lasted for more that 6 months in the last 2 years) just told me that if i don't change the prices he will take me off contract and we will be paying $8 to $10 more a carton. At this point I don't care.

^ Curious, I feel like not many people smoke anymore in Canada... but since you work in a place that actually sells them, how many customers would you say actually buy smokes nowadays compared to the past?

I would say 60 to 70% of adults that come into the store buy smokes. It's a good chunk of our business.

WOW... that's a lot... although I guess most people walking in to the store at a station are probably only walking in because of smokes...

I definitely don't get the feeling that many people are smoking anymore in the lower mainland anyway.
