Somewhere in the back of every American’s mind they knew going to their 4th of July event this year meant that they were at risk of being involved in a mass shooting event. Guaranteed it was going to happen somewhere… but go to it anyway and just hope for the best.
That’s as sad a state of affairs as anyone can imagine for a supposedly free first world country… I’ll await capture / death of the shooter, but won’t be surprised when it’s one of those freedom conspiracy idiots.

Wow Highland Park, if any of you were fans of the John Hughes movies of the 80s you'd automatically recognize it. Ferris Bueller, Home Alone, etc. were all set there.
