Need some help removing malware?

I have a process running in my background that i cannot located and remove.

Whe hit alt tab I can see it running and i know where the directory is. How can I remove this?

Maybe try rebooting in safe mode and removing it from there?

Or chuck the computer out and get a new one :troll:

try malwarebytes and run in safemode to scan and remove

Did you google the process name? sometimes they are not malware and a regular windows process.

There are also some processes that malwarebytes cannot remove, but can be removed by anti-malware scripts that remove the specific malware.

Sometimes you have to mess around in regedit too... malware is very complicated so it's better to know exactly which one you are dealing with.

kaspersky is one the greats for free 30 day trial and and doneski..

i use to get windows 10 "Free" and those bastards would always lace it with malware after fully updating the app and doing a full system scan would detect it in the system.

Should be removeable if you boot into safe mode. If not, boot up a Windows 10/11 USB installer, at the setup menu hit Shift + F10 to bring up a command prompt and then delete it that way.
