Google's Veo 3 does audio generation now, with voice and lip synching.

Better than Skinny's post:

No because that video is way to long. All the Veo 3 video's are max 8 seconds.

Here is the same video on youtube posted 8 years ago.

Spoiler!

We are fucked as humans.

I'm sure a lot of monks thought that when the printing press was invented...

I found this extremely helpful to keep up with how fast AI is changing right meow:

Apparently $500 in token spending. Seems like a lot till you realize ONE actor would charge $500 per hour.

AI crypto radio station. Plays music and gives the latest crypto news. It's kind of funny.

One of my favourite AI tracks currrently!

I feel like this could have been a #1 hit pre-2014ish:

This is my spirit animal.

so this whole AI thing... i was reluctant to trust it and THANK GOODNESS I didn't.

Kids have to learn how to fact check.

We were stuck in traffic and we got someone to chat gpt / gemini why GTA has traffic jam - it says cause it might be maple leafs playsoff...LOL

clearly they were kicked oout last week and this Friday they already fired their GM... so sometimes it's good to know your stuff than freaking embarrass yourself thinking Leafs were in the playoffs.

Anyone play around with replit or other similar apps? These things will build websites for you using your simple prompts to the point of being functional and launching. No more knowledge of coding needed. I 'm not sure how well they actually function once they released to the real world per se or if they are just ...window dressing?

Anyone who works in tech that can comment?

EvoFire 05-27-2025 10:06 PM

I'm in tech. I've used AI here and there to generate a small function or to code check something that I am not familiar with and doesn't build (typescript). I haven't used any of the tools but I also am not at a point where I trust the output.

Dbone 05-28-2025 01:59 PM

I use AI all the time to code my requirements. They are still just Actual Indians at this point though.:fullofwin:

Hooooooooollllllllly shhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiit!!!

Hondaracer 06-04-2025 06:41 PM

I’ve been playing with the new google Veo 3, it’s incredible

Even the short 8 second videos, depending on your prompt are amazing.

So my question because I’m ignorant to this, in say, 5 years, will everyone not have some sort of access to the “unrestricted” AI models in terms of generating literally anything? How will a google or Nvidia control who can use super advanced AI models

Simply the companies that can actually provide the processing power?

POST SOME YOU COWARD!!!

So sad that RS, for all of the money and creativity I'm sure some of you possess, nobody posts any cool shit they made using the AI!

This weekend or soon, my kid and I are going to take our hamster and try and film some stuff, then put it into Luma Lab's new "Modify Video" and put the hamster on the moon, in minecraft, in a cartoon... going to be fun as hell! :awwyeah:

Yea but we are still currently confined by the companies who can power the generations and their rules
