The group inside can be pulled out to wash and clean, and it's a fairly straightforward machine.

My only complaint is when I had one is that it uses a lot of water to clean lol, it likes to run rinse cycle a lot, but that's a good thing in the long run. Don't do super dark roasts with any super auto machine, that tends to gum them up inside.

I bought one. Hopefully it’s good. I’m not a coffee drinker but it would be nice to have a cup in the morning and sit in the backyard.

When you boys come over you can have a nice cup of joe

Now I gotta go buy some beans. I don’t even know what the fuck is good. I like Vietnamese coffee

bcrdukes 11-24-2023 08:07 AM

That machine will not like Vietnamese coffee :lol

I can picture you bringing it back to Costco and telling them how lousy this machine is :lol

Just buy this from superstore, or walmart or Amazon

Man, the BF deals this year are pretty lackluster, sales across the board in all these stores are pretty mediocre.

Anyone been following what the best play for cell phone plans are? I heard stuff like superstore mobile kiosk giving 200k optimum points, some plans free pixel/s23fe etc etc

There are like 7 threads on RFD for cell phones, though most of them seem to be BYOD.

That said, if you wanna explore that route, Costco is doing discounts on flagship phones bought outright. Might be your best 'deal' although $$ upfront.

Yea.. it seems like $34 for 40gb is what most carriers are doing. The mobile shop in Superstore is, I think, giving 150k optimum points, plus other bonuses for signing up plans there.

That said, there are lineups at all locations lol:badpokerface:

Costco is also giving out $250 GC’s as part of this so seems like the best deal on phones

I guarantee you some of the people in those lines are paying $600 penalties to save $4/month.

First world logic problems :drunk:

Last year I was able to capitalize on a decent plan with Koodo. It was with Best Buy, 2 year term $45 a month with a Pixel 6a (which I sold the phone for $340) and a $300 gift card) few months after I changed the plan to get it as low as $35 a month.

But with the recent black Friday sales, my plan is now $40 which still includes a $20 bill credit from last year's deal. My plan is 100gb with CAN US roaming and data roll over.

sonick 11-24-2023 12:58 PM

Was waiting on hold to speak with Koodo retentions dept to see if I could get their black Friday deal which is exactly the same as Fido's.

But took so long by the time I finished registering with Fido I was still on hold.

So dumb they should just make it available to existing customers like Fido did.

I haven't read too deep on the Fido side of things, but according to RFD, existing Fido customers lost the ability to change over to the black Friday plan. I was able to do it like around 8am in the morning today.

Yeah, the place wasn’t even on the radar this time around. More like gadar. IIRC, they had a good Boxing Day sale last year. More like, “It’s the end of the year - we gotta get rid of inventory.”

I'm an existing customer of 15+ years and was able to change my plan twice this week. First to the $34/30gb(live chat), then to the $34/40gb(fido store).
Got my wife on the plan and my bro just signed up an hour ago, both existing customers as well.

Razor Ramon HG 11-24-2023 04:24 PM

There's probably like 50 people in line at the Fido store at Crystal Mall.

I got a haircut and the line probably moved like 3 spots max, lol.

Just swapped from Telus to Rogers.
$40 75GB Canada US and BYOD no term
$67.18 iPhone 14 + 75GB Canada only. 2 years.

We are going to have to Port when the phone arrives. What’s the best way to do this without getting charged. Our Telus contract ended yesterday and obviously a new billing cycle just started. I don’t want to get dinged a whole month once it gets ported. Any tips?

Pretty sure it all gets prorated for partial months.

Technically you'll get dinged for the full month, but for the remaining days that go unused, it gets prorated and refunded in a form of a cheque mailed to your home

That's my experience from porting Rogers to koodo

hud 91gt 11-24-2023 05:33 PM

Hmm ok that’s going against what I read online but it’s what I was hoping for. Lol. I saw people putting the phone on vacation, then porting, or else getting dinged the whole month.

Hondaracer 11-24-2023 05:40 PM

I guarantee you the vast majority of people will get dinged to some degree and never call on to deal with it etc.

What’s super annoying is I renegotiated both my cellar and home services but then My new contract billing details don’t show up until it rolls over into the next billing cycle so I can’t even confirm what I was told I’m now paying is accurate

So what services do you offer in your cellar
