3 RWB's for sale in Saskatoon. Someone in Saskatoon had 3 RWB Porsche's built last summer. https://saskatoon.ctvnews.ca/legenda...toon-1.6557336 Quote:

A few more for sale in Canada. https://www.autotrader.ca/a/porsche/...0121155126644/ https://www.autotrader.ca/a/porsche/...0808162155129/ This one has been on sale for some time. https://www.autotrader.ca/a/porsche/...0121155126644/ They seem a lot higher priced than the ones in Saskatoon. Are people not into these anymore? |
RWB hype aged like milk. the exclusivity is gone. nakai san is a genius. no bullshit. if you have money he will build one for you. no limits, no fake waiting lists, no preferred customers. You could start RWB Prince George if you want to. i'd still love to have one |
Are those decent deals? Any p car is like what about $100000? Then it's like $30000 for the kit? $30000 for other mods, wheels, paint? |
I was always personally of the opinion that people revere this dude for almost no actual reason... but good on him for making a biz out of flying around the world taking rich people's money. |
Smoking a cigarette, and using Japanese perfectionism on the western world. Lol. I would have like to have seen him build something classier, along the lines of a singer… but that would be very anti Japanese style. |
I watched a "build" video a few weeks ago, and the commentary was "watch as he precily cuts the fender" and he just straight up butchers the car with a zip disk, couldn't stop laughing Im with 68style, people just drinking the rwb cool aid |
I don’t like. |
I never understood the hype either. I never looked into them much because I think they look terrible, but isn't it just bolting on the same widebody kit onto every car? |
I find RWB and Liberty Walk a rich man's Fast and Furious body kit. By slapping on the kit, they just reverse all the hard work engineers did on that P car. LOL. To each their own, I guess. |
It's pretty simple. When you have a lot of money, you can buy anything, and the only thing that starts to set you apart is to buy super expensive niche stuff so your buddy next door is jelly. This is were a lot of ultra niche inclusive brands come from. You get to say this was 1 of 1 custom made for me at the dinner table when the other dude starts talking about his Stock 458. |
The thing is.. these aren’t so expensive that they were ever exclusive. It’s not like someone buying these RWB Porsches has an Aston Valkyrie next to it. All the 993’s he’s hacked up are the opitome of timeless design, so of course when you start hacking them up with an angle grinder they are going to look substantially worse than one of the most timeless designs there’s ever been lol |
From what I hear these cars are 10 footers. They look great from 10 feet away but not so great up close. He literally paints them with spray paint. I think a lot of the appeal of these cars for some people is the process. You get to hang out with Nakai and watch your car get build and join a club with only 1300 or so cars. I hear the all the owners are pretty close to you. |

And RWB happens to hack the most timeless and desirable design of 911 to ever exist... how ironic. |
It's not all 993? Some of then are 964s? |
and 997's just no 996's or you'd have every brokeboy trying to get one done |

I saw a similar video a while back, some guy made a nice slowmo video of him spraypainting... crowd surrounding him like he was a god and the job was just like a backyard job, overspray would go everywhere. Yet those guys around him where all smiles with boners in their pants |
I've seen a few of these "builds" in person. Super hack, super cringe, but it's pretty epic to see firsthand when he sawzalls the fenders and quarters off. Most owners seem to be the nouveau riche douche types, clout chasers, or just there for being able to "build" their own exclusive 1 of 1 930/964/994/997 and soon to be 996 lol Least it makes mine with OG fenders worth more in the long run. |
Talking about modded Porsches. This one is on sale in Portland for 70K. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...tory_type=post https://scontent-bos5-1.xx.fbcdn.net...lQ&oe=65EE920F https://scontent-bos5-1.xx.fbcdn.net...Ng&oe=65EE8F7B |
Someone buy it and bring it to cars and coffee. Lol. That is the only thing it's good for. |
It is signed by Akira Nakai. |
