Kind of a weird itinerary of places that, personally, I find extremely stressful and not nice to visit? Lol
I’ve been to London twice spanning almost 2 weeks, and I wouldn’t put it in my top 20 cities in Europe. Just sucking exhaust fumes all day long with no upsides lol
London national museum, Tower of London, big bus tours, Hyde park. IMO if you’ve never done London before it’s like the opitome of a city where the big bus tours actually work. Every single site and spot you want to see are along the bus routes and you’re not likely to get to any of these places any quicker, so imo it’s a must to bite the bullet and get the more premium big bus tour ticket

eyah it's weird.. got a conference in Vienna so i'll be there for 4 days bumping around.
I'll be looking for speakeasys.
London and Paris are just easierrrrr i guess as the train can make it stressfree (LOL) for inlaws...
London national museum, Tower of London, big bus tours, Hyde park are good start.. going to do a bit of walking tours for sure
Donk - i would have loved to go to isle of wight if it wasn't going with my in laws.

Why bother with wasting a day with Brussels? It's really not all that pretty of a city and sure go if you love waffles and beer. It's got like one nice square but I don't think it's worth it to trek out there from Paris to eat up a whole day.
Also London National Museum? You mean the British Museum?

Ditto on no to Brussels. Not worth it for the day trip unless FOMO will result in long term therapy.

Personally I’d much rather go to Dublin for those days over London. Although this means getting on a plane. However, as ugly and dumpy as Ireland and Dublin can be it’s way more fun and cool.
London has always felt stifling to me and the food is trashhhhh. Like yea you can watch these YouTube videos “best of London!!” That shows little hole in the wall places on opposite ends of the city, however, in general food in England is..dare I say.. worse than the Balkans? Lol

Really? I haven't been to Ireland yet but from everything I've read online it's Dublin that's dreary and ugly and you should go visit the countryside instead.
London seems like a place that's great if you spend a lot of cash. Otherwise it's pretty dire.

The vibe in Dublin is just somthing I vastly prefer. Also some of the sites like Guinness store house etc. are really cool and more fun than most of the typical attractions.
London is just so fucking expensive like $15 beers and $150 meals for a typical pub dinner. Probably not a problem for the OP if you’re travelling with in-laws etc. but I find places like that just feel increasingly less worth it for what they offer.
I’d probably try hard to find restaurants and bars, lounges etc. off the beaten path and throw them into google maps and actively try to go to those places. It’s always such a mistake to settle for some bar or touristy resty and have a bad meal that was $$$
Trying to think what else we did in London.. the museums are definitely a high point London museum or whatever it’s called lol has some crazyyyyy stuff see: Donks post lol

Any kids or teens? Or all adults?
In London, we really enjoyed the Churchill War Rooms. It's an underground bunker from where Churchill quarterbacked the war efforts.
Another highlight for us was the Buckingham Palace tour. Although I'm not sure if they run tours outside of summer months.

^yeah 15 yr old niece and 12 yr old nephew... no Fs will be given to them cause all they want is a) WIFI and b) jordan shoes.
I'll check out for sure!
These *uckers won't appreciate going to Europe until years down the road when they can't afford to go cause they are hipsters and can't suffer pain to save money. (Cause that's what happened to me).

Love hate relationship for sure. British museum is free, we will have to pay to get into Lourve as you can't NOT go to see Mona Lisa despite it's very underwhelming for us.
Versailles + Louvre + Eiffel Tower.. we decided on Lourve..

Yea Versailles is hella boring. Room after room of the same shit.
Louvre is pretty dope although I really preferred the Orangerie and monets water Lilly’s etc. the lourve is just too overwhelming. The winged victory was my highlight there
