We stayed in my wife's (then gf's) uncle's spare room... Mostly used to store his golf clubs and stuff. Nice TV! And a fax machine! We lived in this room for 6 months lol. That's when I knew I wanted to go back for good. I'm glad I got to experience the somewhat old Hong Kong in the early 00's shortly after handover.

Speaking of Rena Virk, I went to school with Warren Glowatski, the kid who killed her. He was my brother's age and we'd play road hockey together. Seemed like a decent kid back then, but I guess he was too young at that time to really be fucked up.

This is pretty typical tho. I remember 8th grade. I remember the sluts in my class... and their parents lol. It's more representative of the parents though. The kids that were dressing very provocatively typically had a troubled home life or they're just mimicking what their parents dress/behave like.
