I found out about 9/11 on Revscene.. I did my usual morning routine of coffee, check emails, check out what's going on at the forums I go to including here. Then I saw a thread titled "OMG they hit the Pentagon too!" and was like  |

This was from my first trip to Hong Kong in 2003.. This friendly old guy wanted to chat on the MTR 
We stayed in my wife's (then gf's) uncle's spare room... Mostly used to store his golf clubs and stuff. Nice TV! And a fax machine! We lived in this room for 6 months lol. That's when I knew I wanted to go back for good. I'm glad I got to experience the somewhat old Hong Kong in the early 00's shortly after handover.

Speaking of Rena Virk, I went to school with Warren Glowatski, the kid who killed her. He was my brother's age and we'd play road hockey together. Seemed like a decent kid back then, but I guess he was too young at that time to really be fucked up.

I was talking to my wife about it a little while ago but I couldn't remember what it was called. I was broke at the time so I did a bunch of stuff, then they pulled some bs during the first redemption event and then jacked up all the prices.

But its true these little shits are getting quite outrageous. I signed up for a community center gym recently and from 3-5pm there are the occasional high schooler that comes in. I recall in grade 2, me and a buddy took those shopping carts and just pushed it around the block while one of us rode in it. Pretty wholesome growing up. supersoaker fights, basketball, riding bikes, etc
