I agree with you guys. I literally said the same thing to one of my coworkers, a trade isn't fixing anything this year. We are done. If trade deadline offers aren't any good, I'd wait for summer when teams are looking for a guy like JT to be their game changer. I'm about 94% sure this team has no chance to make the playoffs and at best gets shit kicked in the first round. I'd honestly rather they not make the playoffs and get people's hopes up. This team ain't it.
I feel bad for Hughes, Garland, Lankinen and Sherwood. Everyone else has been too inconsistent for me to have sympathy for them in this situation.

This core has been together for a while now minus Horvat. I think the core ain't good enough with the exception of Hughes. But then again we don't know where Hughes will be in a few yrs once he gets his bag of cash.

If Pettersson was that effective like in his rookie season, I would want him to do that every PP too.

Granted, last I checked their team was last in their division so things aren't exactly going that well for Bo either other than the pay cheque lol.

I'm not watching but I see that Miller has a Gordie Howe hat trick tonight and Lankinen also picked up an assist. I like that it's Binnington in net for all of this madness lol.
