:fuckthatshit: |
If I'm reading that right then it's $1200 + tax for a family of 4 to play Mario Kart on this thing? Yeah I'm gonna stick to the Wii. |
$110 bucks for Mario Kart fuck Nintendo up the ass for setting this precedent, can't wait to see the rest of the industry use it for their blockbusters if this is successful. |
It was pretty chaotic for the pre orders today. But surprisingly enough, I was 2 hours late for the Best Buy pre-order and I was able to snag one. |
at these prices i'm picturing #1 google search being 'how much is a switch 2' with #2 google trending search being 'how to emulate switch 2 games' :lawl: |
https://www.nintendo.com/en-gb/Hardw...d%20Joy%2DCon*. Good news for existing switch owners if you have a bunch of joy cons and pro controllers kicking around. Quote:

i wonder how much longer they'll support switch 1 once switch 2 drops. similar to how sony releases games on ps5 and ps4 for a few years... |

Got mine at London Drugs in Langley this morning. There's a Walmart, Best Buy, and Gamestops in the area. I drove out at 8:45am to try my luck at Walmart since they opened at 7am. They were all gone. I saw that Best Buy had a small lineup building, but they didn't open until 10. Since London Drugs opened at 9, I tried them next. There were about a dozen people in line. I was basically last in line, and they had dozens of units available when I left the store. I don't know how much the hype will hold up, but I remembered that almost 20 years ago, it took 2 months of checking out Gamestop daily before I was able to get a Wii. I didn't want to do that again. |
i guess people are willing to line up even with the high price. it's too steep for me... let us know if it lives up to the hype |
Already people seem to be shitting on the screen saying a lot of blooming in dark environments etc. which is hella disappointing if true. Especially since they opted away from the oled screens |
apparently there's already talk of switch 2 being hacked... i'm sure nintendo will be all over it and releasing a patch before anyone can do anything with it. i feel like they're the new sony with locking their hw |
Doesn't seem terribly hard to find one which is odd for a launch console usually it's sold out for weeks. I'll wait for the oled model at least they should have some better games out by then. |
Apparently stick drift still exists for switch 2 joy cons?! |
