Who needs a wing, who needs light wheels, who needs BBK, who needs a splitter, who needs brakes with more "bite"? How many ppl on this forum are running laps in VIMC?
4k in wheel on a 15k car is much more regarded than 15k wheels on a 250k car.
It's no different, just happens to be for rich ppl.
In both cases there's nothing wrong with doing it cause you think it looks cool. Just be honest about why and spare everyone the BS about how it's "functional"

That's what makes it cool, though; they 100% race parts. Everyone was asking why it's so expensive, that's why.
If you want to drive an actual race-car on the street, this is pretty damn close to the top.
I go by underscore now: i also have a car with a large coolant leak:
Picked this up thanks to GS8, something i would normally never even search, buuuuuuuuuut, it has 12,300kms and the price was cheaper than 1 week in mexico.
The catch? Just like underscore, my entire driveway and street is green in color lol.
Il post some more pics later, if your lucky il bring it out to the meat on 25th

The Manthey stuff or a Porsche? The Manthey stuff no, 100% no, it's just another mod where you don't get your money back. If it's the car, it's also going to be a no. We haven't seen the bottom of the Porsche market yet. Unless you have a very desirable car, like a 992.2 GT3 Touring in PTS with backseats, you aren't likely to be making money on the car.
I went to look at a 992.1 Carerra T recently and it was sold as an asset that doesn't depreciate, and I wouldn't be surprised if the sales training is for them to sell it as an investment. The Carerra T is cool in stick, but it's not a collectible with the base engine imo. With the way taxes are, there's just no way you can make up 40k of taxes.
I think it was in just general. He talked about buying one of the cars they already had in stock then being put on the list to get one of the more special ones.
