Nissan be hiring in sauga for the shit I used to do:
Executive Dashboards for Nissan and Infiniti performance, Month-end reporting tools, segment trend insights, APV (Alternative Powertrain Vehicle) trends, Industry Fleet Reports, Provincial Reports, etc.
Incorporate monthly sales cadence assumptions to ensure accurate daily forecasting. Distribute DSR to stakeholders with clear insights on sales progress across carlines and regions.

I went to look at a BMW iX that Burrard Acura had.
I told them I'm here to look at one thing, if it has adjustable lumbar on the passenger side since some cars lost it due to the chip shortage, I just want to check the car and move on. They made me sit through this whole questionnaire and what should have taken 10 mins took 35, for me to have a quick poke at the car. The GM was kind of hovering around so I felt like I don't want to do the sales guy dirty, but damn if that's how Acura is treating their customers, I would not want to buy from them. That was definitely not a premium experience.

I had similar experiences with Acura at three different dealerships in Vancouver and several here in the GTA.
Not the same brand, but the worst was Audi Downtown Toronto. Before they even wanted to talk to me about the A4/A6 Allroad, they wanted me go to go through this whole song as dance, similar to what you described. Felt like a pre-qualification of some kind.
