I recall hearing about this in the news, but it didn't sink in until I saw an old recorded Stephen Colbert episode. Chuck Mangione passed away on July 22nd. So sad. Such a great musician. Children of Sanchez, Feels So Good, Bellavia, Land of Make Believe, Give It All You Got, etc.

He was 84 years old.

Rest in Peace. Namo Amida Bustu. riposa in pace

I hear that Spugen is recovering at home now after his back surgery. Well done!

SpuGen 08-16-2025 06:52 PM

I am alive and at home resting.

Def can't play with bikes anymore post surgery, but it is what it is. I get to "walk" away with a fused spine and my life.

Maybe I'll do a full write up of what happened to me when I heal up a bit

Great to hear you're home and recovering.
Very sad to hear that you need to give up something you enjoyed, bikes.
But what hobz REALLY wants to know is..... Can you still anal a bitch or did the surgery make that a no go too

As a guy who’s been through 3 motorcycle accidents, and having some pins in my back as a result, I know what you’re going through. Get well bro… it’s gonna be a long road but you’re still alive and you’ll be okay. You might even be able to get back on a bike in the future. Never rule it out completely, the body will adapt.

Now you gotta share.. what happened to your accident(s)? I've been riding crotch rockets for years and moved over to harleys; so i'm eager to hear what accident you went thru when I hop back on again. (sold harley for wedding ring).

Badhobz 08-18-2025 06:43 AM

I started with a 250, then i got a gixxer 600. all 3 accidents happened when i had my gixxer.

2 rear enders at the stop light. 2 times i ended up on my back on these fuckers windshields. All distracted driving idiots. Since i was surrounded by other cars, i didnt have any means of escape. How can you not see my huge fat ass!? the fuck is wrong with people.

Last time was a lowside when a lady came around this sharp bend over the yellow meridian. I had to stand up my bike to avoid her and i couldnt navigate this turn afterwards so i lowsided the bike against the curb. I went flying but thank god for full gear, otherwise i woudlnt be here.

Which accident was it that the ambulance couldn't carry you on their stretcher? Weaaaaaak!

Badhobz 08-18-2025 07:02 AM

the lowside one! weak ass fire-women. needed to call another firetruck. took like 6 dudes to lift my corpse onto the stretcher. IM NOT THAT FAT YOU FUCKS!

Sorry to hijack this thread, but LOMAC, what happened to that filming project? You needed someone with a truck. I volunteered and then you went AWOL. I was so looking forward to filming neked chicks skiing in your backyard. Damn you………….. I demand an explanation, nao!
