People still club. Harbour is probably the closest for the general age range here, still ranges older. Gallery is for the whores and I think it's a lounge. I think Basement and Gorg-O-Mish are still around.. somehow.

Idk about anything else.

How about the Aches & Pains forum? Forum where we compare our medical ailments with each other to make sure we're good. /s

God it's probably been 2 decades since I set foot in a club in Vancouver, how is it I still recognize one of those names BIC BAWS mentioned??

Considering the user demographic and the activity of this sub-forum, I feel it's time to retire it entirely.

Am I reading things right? There seems to be a move away from alcohol even among youngens .. alcohol free wine, dealcoholized beer ... or is it just a very minor segment?

No, it's a growing segment and quite massive. Wineries and distilleries are legitimately worried and are responding with alternative products to keep up.

Do this and I will have an endless supply of posts to contribute to this subsection.

I can imagine the sponsors we could attract to the forum. Hello, Advil and Tylenol.

Costco is selling lots of types non alcoholic beers and mocktails. They even have Whiteclaw!!! We also sell 4/5 types in our store.

1. I double posted because of the glitch in the boards with posting from my cell phone. But that's funny i am geriatric but still not as old as some other RS members on here (you know who you are!). i have an excuse for my mistakes now =P

2. Bed by 10. Yes, i have seen this! Its a funny concept but I do find it really hits home with our cohort hahah. Damn, we all have work in the morning!!

3. Aches and Pains forum? That should be discussed in the VLS Health & Wellness Forum! But I had a nice laugh about being sponsored by Tylenol and Advil.
We may just look into that..

4. Coffee Club Dancing. This. Its an interesting concept from what I see on IG. I don't get how this works? How many cups of coffee can you drink? Do people do pick up lines anymore or you just vibe to house music and swing your head around with a drink in your hand? I do think its cool.. up to a certain point.. but then again.. what do I know??!!

6. Would a better name be Music Festival or Rave forum? Cause I don't go to raves and music festivals but I see a lot of my colleagues go to gigs in the outdoor parks and stuff.. do enlighten me

I am into DJ'ing more as a hobby and my own enjoyment, but i have done some gigs for work and house parties. Any on here??

Yeah, this has been happening a lot lately.

Even the youngest cohort here is likely home before 10.

Very frowned upon, but I think the world is finally healing. Women have finally realized that they do want men to hit on them LOL

Youngest should be around 25-28. For active posters, it'd be 28. But I recall seeing someone here a bit younger than that, but not an active poster.

Out of all the active users left, I doubt anyone is going to FVDED in the Park
