i dont ever recall seeing the coupe E class... quite refreshing looking. well done!
Reminds me of the old CL.... which was an S class coupe right? But CLS was a sedan.... i never get these damn merc things right.

I do not really understand why they even bothered with a C class coupe during this time of Benz, the seats front / rear are the same!

wait wait wait... so during this time they had
C class coupe....
E class coupe
CLK which was a c class based coupe...
S class coupe which was the CL? but thats based off the E class?
Then they had the SL coupe/convertible which was supposed to be the S class coupe but lighter, hence SL...
and just for fun, throw in a SLK which was a uhhhh.... trash.
Mercedes can eat a colossal bag of dicks with their assinine naming schemes.

Almost correct:
SLK - Mercedes Miata
C Class Coupe - I believe slightly shorter than my E coupe, not pillarless, but same interior / seats. Dash is slightly different.
E Class Coupe (Replaced CLK Nomenclature starting in 2010)
CL - which to my knowledge is actually S Class based, 4 Seater
SL - Mercedes Grand Miata 2 Seater (Europe only optional childrens seats in rear)
SLR - Mercedes Grand Grand Fancy McLaren Miata
Don't forget, there was actually an E Convertible as well

Ah, gotta get some better pics of my cars this year when the weather is nicer. Speed3 especially is filthy AF. Quote:

took the m3 out for one last drive before insurance runs out. im probably not gonna reinsure it until june. im not convinced keeping it insured all year is the move, might just do 3 of the summer months.

And no, the track isn't incredibly hard on the brakes because it's super tight, it's because at the end of the drag strip is Turn 1, where you do a 180. Then back straight for T3 is another 180 ish lol. Unlike what most people believe about the walls at Mission... it's a factor, but walls don't move. Quote:

I don't have any track days planned this year and probably won't do any. So at most maybe a weekend for road trip + a few sundays for squam/track days.

It's cheaper to do one year and then cancel than to do just a few months.

And then thing is, if we could just do it ourselves online we'd probably save half that cost.
And if ICBC doesn't want us to do day passes, how about a multi-car discount.
ICBC need to get out of the stone age.

I don't think ICBC would really be all that interested in giving up that multi-car premium they enjoy. And they don't need to since they are practially a monopoly.
Of course, in this case I think the public insurance monopoly is working out better than an open market.

I've never done one year and cancel, cuz don't they charge you cancellation fee/ premium? I always just end up swapping to another car

cancellation gets you twice though because you have to turn in your plates, and buy new ones next time. double screwing if you have park plates
the most economical strategy (for multiple cars) is to move the plate around. 28? bucks to do it each time. this can get complicated with storage policies though
