I just go, do the session, shower and leave.

yeah, it's on their website actually. since I'm new to yoga it doesn't really make a difference which teacher I get either, but I do notice some are better than others

So how much is it for drop-in now? Still $10/session? How about the monthly pass? I am planning on doing it again. Sooo sore after my first time there. But it's awesome.

RacePace 02-06-2009 01:46 PM

no, more like $21 a session lol. Monthly is $160. If you plan to commit long term, I would do the $30 unlimited for one week (for new students) and then if you get a membership, that $30 is credited towards any membership plan that you get. I got 20 classes for $260 after my one week unlimited, so it came out to $230. For me that lasts about 2 months if I go 2 times a week.

I will probably switch to the Richmond location afterwards though because it's closer, just going to the DT location for now because of my friends

Anyone go to Bikram Richmond?

kAzE- 04-17-2009 07:09 PM

I like the floors @ richmond yoga.

RacePace 04-17-2009 08:29 PM

really? that's my biggest gripe about the richmond location. Wooden floors conduct heat and sweat gets all over the places after each class. They should have rubber flooring

acyx 04-17-2009 09:01 PM

i did the two week trial a while back (richmond)
i actually loved it
it's too pricey tho=(
does anyone know when the next 30 day challenge is ? for the richmond one..
i think thats the only package thats worth it haha:P
thing is.. even after 2 weeks.. the poses got really repetitive for me and a bit boring haha
has anyone tried richmond yoga? apparently poses are similar to bikrams

sexyflanders 04-17-2009 09:38 PM

bikram's yoga is like death to me. i paid for two classes but couldn't manage to put myself into the second class ;_;

pilates>yoga

K-Dub 04-17-2009 10:56 PM

guhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i ahve 40 classes left on my pass and it expires at the end of the month!! i have finals and then im gone for vacation so i cant possibly use it up. ..

even if i went twice a day.-_-

who wants to buy it cheap from me..?
if you want you could get an additional 10 classes to extend it for at least another half year.

Yep, I like that floor better. They clean it often too. I thought the flooring at Bikram Yoga Richmond was made out of some kind of rubber composite and made to look like laminate flooring.

Anyhow, I've been in places where the sweat and dirt gets trapped and the place starts to smell funny (Bikram Metrotown). The Bikram's that I'm going to now has some wierd weave composite flooring that waaaay too slippery (Bikram Yoga in Edmonton).

ur-lil-sw33tie 04-24-2009 12:31 PM

it is a pretty intense exercise!! i have one more class out of my package for beginners. so i think im gonna go back to that and ill see if i should or can even tolerate going back. haha
